Jammu, Sept 9: As a part of ongoing celebration of 4th Rashtriya Poshan Maah, NSS unit of Govt. Degree College, R. S. Pura organised an Online Intercollegiate Quiz Competition on the topic “Nutrition for Pregnant Women and Adolescent Girls” under the patronage of principal of the college, Dr. G. S. Rakwal and supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Programme Officer. A large number of students from various institutions like University of Jammu, Cluster University of Jammu and various Degree Colleges of the state like GGM Science College, Government College of Engineering and Technology Jammu, GOVT. MAM PG COLLEGE JAMMU, Govt. Degree College (Boys) Udhampur, GDC RS Pura, GDC Hiranager, GDC Billawar, GDC Reasi etc participated in the event. Students securing 70% and above marks were awarded e - certificates. The material for the quiz was researched and organised by Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur, Prof. Vijay Kumari and Prof. Sheetal Sharma. The principal of the college encouraged the NSS committee and the volunteers to actively take part in such events. |
