Srinagar, Sept 10: A carpenter was electrocuted to death while another person was injured when they came in contact with a live wire here on Friday.
Official sources said that the carpenter and another person received electric shock while working on the roof of a house in Aloochi Bagh in Srinagar on Friday. The duo was immediately taken to a hospital, where the carpenter succumbed, they said. They said police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident. After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased, identified as Ishfaq Ahmad, was handed over to his relatives for last rites. |
