| Srinagar-Jammu NHW to remain open for Traffic movement on Saturday | | |

Srinagar, Sept 10: Traffic Police on Friday said that there would be a traffic movement from Srinagar to Jammu and vice versa on the NHW-44 tomorrow subject to fair weather.
They further said that light motor vehicles passengers shall be allowed tomorrow from both sides of Jammu to Srinagar and from Srinagar to Jammu only after the better road condition and clement weather.
“Subject to fair weather and better road conditions, HMVs shall be allowed from Jakheni (Udhampur) towards Srinagar after the tail of down HMVs crosses Jakheni. TCU Udhampur shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the HMVs,”.said the officials.
It was further said both ways traffic shall be allowed from Kargil towards Srinagar and vice-versa on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road tomorrow.
Regarding the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road, the officials also said that on 17-09-2021 (Friday), there shall be no traffic movement on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road from either side in view of maintenance/repairing on Zoji la axis. |
