Conclave on “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” organized | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Sept 10: A conclave on “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” for the UT of Jammu & Kashmir was organized at Udhampur by Ram Parkash District President in which Rizwan Uddin Regional P.F. Commissioner-I E.P.F.O. Jammu was the Chief guest where as this conclave was presided over by the Ajay Gupta, General Secretary J&K Private Schools Association, Jammu. The main motive of this programme was to highlight the problems/grievances of Employers / stakeholders etc. having financial crunch due to continues closure/ lockdown. While speaking members / proprietors said that schools authorities are hapless to pay P.F. contribution due to non availability of sufficient funds. Due to the closure of the schools in the beginning of the two successive years. There is a short fall in revenue. In such circumstances to pay emoluments to teaching and non teaching staff along with other liabilities has become big challenge. Apprehension of interest and damage charges on the defaulters’ schools/ establishments cannot be ruled out. They also highlighted number of discrepancies in their deposit which was made prior to October 2019 in JKEPFO. In response to the queries, Regional PF Commissioner along with Ajit Kumar Mishra (RPFC-II) and Harinder Singh (RPFC-II) said those defaulters are liable to pay interest. Department can only relax those defaulters from the damage charges who will approach to the department in person with solid reasons. |
