JAMMU, Sept 10: Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee President G A Mir has complimented the party workers especially the people of Jammu for the warm welcome to Rahul Gandhi during his two days visit.
In a message to the people and party workers, Mir has expressed gratitude on behalf of the party to the people and party cadres for their cooperation and the warm reception right from airport to Katra, the base camp of Mata Vaishnodevi Ji and the today’s party convention. A large number of delegates from all over Jammu province arrived at the venue in the absence of public transport. During the two days tour Rahul Gandhi there was great enthusiasm among the party cadres and the people, which is a reflection of the change in the mood of the people, who feels disenchanted with the policies of ruling BJP. Gandhi’s grand reception is a loud message that Congress party will re-emerge as a big force in Jammu and Kashmir, Mir said. |
