BVP J&K remembers former national chairman of Parishad

JAMMU, Sept 11: J&K unit of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) remembered former national chairman of Parishad Late Prof Satish Chander Anand on his 86th birth anniversary and met his family members and cherished the old memories left by him in Bharat Vikas Parishad. Born in Jammu in Pre-independence India in year 1936, he was one of the brilliant and very focused students during his school and college days as learnt from his childhood friends. He passed out from Ranbir HigheS secondary School and later completed his higher studies from Banaras Hindu University. After acquiring M.Sc, Physics, he began his career at Agriculture College, R S Pura. Thereafter, he was posted at Prince of Wales College now known as GGM Science College Jammu. He was very fine teacher equipped with thorough knowledge of subject and unique style of expression which made Physics subject looking very easy for his students. Gifted with pure heart, he always thought and worked about welfare of his students, who in turn loved him for his God gifted and inherited qualities.
He was a great family man and a true friend to his colleagues. He was very fond of traveling and photography. He traveled widely with friends and family and was also blessed with son namely Dr Rajnish Anand, a noted and kind hearted Ortho surgeon in J&K Govt.
A photo album of memories of Prof SC Anand was handed over to his family members by the delegation comprising Prantiya Team, Gandhi Nagar Team, Regional and National office bearers led by Ashok Khajuria (Prant President), SN Sharma, Dr Santosh Gupta, Arun Sharma, Gopal Sharma, Amita Sharma, Dr Subhash Gupta, Narinder Mishra, Rajesh Gupta, Bhupal Datta, Sushil Ojha and Ravi Gupta.
