Train service resumes on Baramulla-Banihal track | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Sept 11: Train service between Baramulla in north Kashmir and Banihal in Jammu region resumed on Saturday after remaining suspended yesterday as a precautionary measure. Train will run on Srinagar-Badgam in central Kashmir and Baramulla in north today, official sources told UNI Friday. Similarly, train will also chug on Badgam-Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region, they added. Train service was suspended on September 2nd following death of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani who breathed his last on September Ist night at Hyderpora house. The service was later restored after five days after situation remained peaceful in the valley. Train service was again suspended yesterday as a precautionary measure, they said.
