MEDANTA brings world-class Liver Transplant Care OPD to JAMMU

JAMMU, Sept 11: In continuation to its commitment of bringing world-class healthcare to the doorstep in most Indian cities, Medanta - The Medicity, today announced the launch of Medanta Liver Surgery OPD at Medanta Mediconsult Centre, 87-A, Gole Market Gandhi Nagar, (An Initiative By Care India Foundation) with Dr Rohan Chaudharyi, Consultant, Medanta
Institute of Liver Transplantation & Regenerative Medicine, will be available for Consultation for all Liver related problems. The OPD will function regularly on 2nd Saturday of every month and offer patients from J&K and surrounding areas, access to world-class care for chest related problems. Dr RJ Chaudhary is a Consultant Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant Surgeon in Institute of Liver Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine, Medanta – the Medicity, Gurugram. He started his journey in the field of Liver Transplantation in the year 2014 and since then, he is involved in more than 1000 Liver Transplant and more than 300 complex hepatobiliary surgeries. As a Consultant, he has performed more than 300 Liver transplantation surgeries including Living Donor Liver Transplantation (LDLT), Deceased Donor Liver Transplantation (DDLT) in both Adult and Paediatric age groups. Dr Chaudhary said “Liver Transplant Surgical Care is a specialized area which requires experience and expertise along with a large dedicated team”. At Institute of Liver Transplantation & Regenerative Medicine, we have Team Lead By World Renowned Padma Shri Dr AS Soin where under their leadership Medanta had performed more than 2500 Liver Transplant with more than 95% sucess rate.
Dr Naresh Trehan, Chairman and Managing Director, Medanta-The Medicity added, “This initiative is in keeping with our vision to offer world-class healthcare to the citizens of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh in particular. Having understood the need for Chest Surgical Care in the city of temples, we decided to launch MEDANTA Liver OPD.
