| Fit India Freedom Run organized by General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 11: The NSS and NCC unit of General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College Reasi under the patronage of the Principal of the college, Dr. Chander Shekhar Gupta organized Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 under “Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” initiative.
The Freedom run started from the college premises and passed through the main market of district headquarters further covering mini secretariat and culminated at the College campus. Many NSS volunteers and NCC Cadets along with the Principal and staff participated with full enthusiasm while adhering to COVID-19 SOPs.
SSP Reasi provided necessary support by sending their officials in order to ensure the maximum security.
The event was organized by Dr. Amit Bali, NSS Programme officer and Dr. Anu Sharma, Head, Dept of Botany. Principal of the college, congratulated the participants for their participation in the event with full zeal and enthusiasm whereby giving a gentle message of Healthy India to the general public.
