| GDC Khour organizes Fit India Freedom Run | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 11: Government Degree College Khour organized “Fit India Freedom Run” to celebrate the 75th Years of Independence under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”.
On the occasion NCC cadets, NSS volunteers and Sports students along with Principal and staff of the College participated in Freedom Run 2.0.
The Freedom Run was flagged off by Prof. Hans Raj, Principal of the College. It began from GDC Khour and culminated at college sports ground via moving through Nai Basti, Narayana, Khour. The purpose of the Run was to create awareness about ongoing Fit India Campaign by Government of India.
The programme was coordinated by NCC Officer Prof. Arun Sharma, NSSPO Prof. Gurvinder Kour and HOD Physical Education & Sports Prof. Goutam Sharma. |
