Apni Party expresses concern over poor basic amenities in Bathindi
9/12/2021 11:41:36 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 12: Apni Party today expressed concern over the deplorable condition of basic amenities in Bathindi and its adjoining areas of Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency which has made the lives of the people miserable. The programme was organized by District Secretary, Apni Party's Jammu District Unit, Ashraf Choudhary.
Provincial President, Women Wing, Jammu, Namrta Sharma, and District President - Jammu Urban -Pranav Shagotra led the meeting in which many leaders and workers participated. On this occasion, many people joined Apni Party including Rubina Ashraf, Jasmeen Choudhary, Rashida Bano, Sarwar Jaan, Ramzana Bibi, Rashida Bibi, Manzoora Bibi, Shabina Bibi, Ramhota Bibi, Shabina Bibi, Raj Bibi, Nusrat Bano, Shahnaz Bano and others.
Namrta said that most of the part of Bathindi falls under Jammu Municipal Corporation yet it has poor cleanliness and proper dumping zones for garbage which often causes hazardous situations. "It seems Bathindi is out of sight for the JMC officials who are responsible for keeping the Jammu City Clean and Green. The scattered garbage close to the residential colonies has exposed the people to health-related issues," said Namrta.
Shagotra also expressed his concern over the negligence of the residential area which is hardly few kms away from the city. "The JMC should take up the developmental works in Bathindi. The people generally have complaints about lanes, poor drainage system, unscheduled power cuts, and irregular water supply in the area which has added to the routine issues," he said.
The participants expressed gratitude to Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari for commitment to deliver the first 300 electricity units for free if the Apni Party comes to Power.
