| Elections play important role in ending peoples' suffering in J&K: Tajinder | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 12: Renowned social political Activist Sardar Tajinder Singh has urged government of India to restore full statehood and hold assembly elections at earliest to end the prevailing political uncertainty in Jammu and Kashmir.
Tajinder said that statehood resonates with aspirations of people in Jammu and Kashmir and government of India must take an early decision to reinstate statehood to Jammu and Kashmir as people were suffering due to governance deficit in absence of civilian government. The people want a civilian government to get their grievances and day today problems redressed adequately through their elected representatives, said Tajinder. |
