NEET (UG)-2021 exam succesfully conducted in Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 12: Notwithstanding the challenges of COVID, NEET (UG)-2021 Examination was successfully organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Jammu today i.e 12th September 2021. Considered as the most high stake national examination for admission to various medical courses, this year 9483 candidates appeared from all over Jammu , Samba, Udhampur and Reasi districts in 31 designated Test Centres ,which saw than 95% attendance of the candidates. To meet the COVID challenges, NTA had made extensive COVID related preparations for the candidates such as giving them staggered time slots, location links of their exam centres explicit instructions for social distancing, etc. Besides this series of Orientations and Briefing sessions were also organized by NTA and the designated City Coordinators of NEET exam for all functionaries involved in this exam in each city. From Jammu region, Sh.S.S. Sodhi, PVC/Director DPS Schools, J&K thanked Hon’ble Lt. Governor (J&K), Chief Secretary, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, DGP, IGP, SSP, Police bodies, DC/DM, Education Deptt. Commissioner JMC for extending their necessary support for the conduct of this exam. He congratulated managements of all Private CBSE Schools and authorities of Jammu University for conducting the most prestigious high-stake examination in proper manner and also congratulated the City Coordinator for Jammu Region - Ms. Ruchi Chabra for coordinating for this exam successfully. |
