JAMMU, Sept 12: Democratic Youth Club Taraf Sanji Kathua conducted cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The motto behind to organize this event was to keep village clean and green. Club members uprooted the unwanted bushes, cutting the branches of trees which creating hurdles in the ways of passers and collecting paper waste, plastic & polyethylene bags and in the end dispose off the waste in a proper place.
Club members also opened n cleaned blocked drains of the village. In the end they once again took Swacchta oath to keep their surroundings clean n green and to keep mission continue. Earlier club also organise plantation drive in the villages primary and middle schools. Club also decided to organise Run for freedom events in coming days under Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav and Fit India movement 2.0 to keep the young bloods physically healthy and fit. |
