UDHAMPUR, Sept 16: As part of academic activity, an online Intra- College Quiz Competition on Disaster Management was organized by the Department of Geography, Government College for Women, Udhampur.
Vice Principal of the College, Prof. Kewal Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion.
A group of 15 students drawn from all the semesters participated in the competition. The students were divided into 5 Groups (A, B, C, D & E) each having 3 members.
Group A (Shruti Devi, Sakshi both from Semester 6th & Vishali Devi Semester 4th) secured first position. Group D (Sunakshi Raina, Kamakshi Baria Semester 6th and Akriti Singh Sem-1st ) and Group- C (Sunakshi Sharma, Avantika Sharma of Semester 6th and Jyoti Devi Semester 2nd ) bagged 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.
The panel of judges included HoD Philosophy Sanjay Kumar and HoD Commerce, Binny Kumar. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by HoD of Geography Department, Pooja Bharti.
Among others present were HoD Music, Dr. Seema Sharma; HoD Geography, Pooja Bharti; senior faculty members and large number of students attended the competition. |
