DIPR, GHSS Nagrota organise awareness program on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, CAB

JAMMU, Sept 16: Cultural Wing of the Department of Information and Public Relation (DIPR), Jammu, in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School, Jagti Camp Nagrota, today organised an awareness program on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav & Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB).
Principal of the host school Satish Pandita was the chief guest of the program.
In his address, the Principal of the School appreciated the efforts made by the Information Department towards spreading mass awareness about CAB, besides celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav to commemorate 75 years of India's freedom.
The Principle urged the participants to take every precaution to avert possible third wave of Coronavirus as predicted by the health experts.
Artists of Cultural Wing of DIPR, Jammu including Drama Instructor, Vijay Anand , Senior Cultural Assistants, Kamal Kumar, Surjeet Singh, Vikram Charbathia, Mohinder Kumar and renowned singer Zulekha Fareed presented a scintillating musical programme on the topic which was highly appreciated by the gathering.
The vote of thanks was presented by lecturer, Parveen Koul.
The staff members, students and local residents attended the programme amid strict adherence to the Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
Meanwhile, an awareness program on POSHAN MAAH was organised at Arnia by CDPO ICDS Project Bishnah in association with the Cultural Wing of DIPR Jammu.
The artists of the Cultural Wing of DIPR presented a scintillating cultural programme on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
Chairperson Municipal Committee Arnia, Ramesh Chander Saini was the chief guest.
Vice Chairperson, Sham Lal and all ward councillors of Arnia and Bishnah also attended the event. Over 70 people including, ICDS beneficiaries, AWWs, AWHs ASHA and general public participated in the programme in strict adherence to Covid safety protocols.
A series of activities including yoga session, cultural programme, song and nukkad natak by AWWs , display of fruits and vegetables from kitchen garden (POSHAN vatikas) and display of IEC material were held on the occasion .
Chairperson Ramesh Saini spoke at length on the importance of right Poshan for leading a healthy life. Vice chairman and ward members also presented their views.
CDPO Bishnah, Rashi Dutta presented the vote of thanks and also spoke about the importance of POSHAN.
