Hanuman Chalisa Paath begins at Shivji temple Vivekanand Chowk | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 22: After the installation of Lord Hanuman's idol at Shiv Mandir, Vivekanand Chowk, a Hanuman Chalisa Paath was organised by Mahadev Yuva Mandali Baba Puniya Puri Samadhi Shiv Mandir Trust. The Hanuman Chalisa Paath was started off by Councillor Ritu Choudhary and SDPO East Sharad Kalu as the chief guests. After the pooja and Hanuman Chalisa Paath, langar was distributed by the dignitaries and the management committee of the Shiv Temple, Vivekanand Chowk among the devotees and passersby. Speaking on the occasion, Ritu Choudhary said that in the past, she felt sad after seeing that the temple is being encroached by some violators and nuisance causing elements of the society but now the temple has been made free from the encroachers and after installing the idol of Lord Hanuman ji in this temple few days back, today along with the management committee we have organized Pooja and Hanuman Chalisa Paath in the temple followed by distribution of langar. Sharad Kalu said that this is the first programme held within the temple by the management committee of the temple and every Tuesday Paath of Hanuman Chalisa will be organized in the temple. |
