KATHUA, Sept 22: DCC KATHUA led by President Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today staged protest against the proposed opening of Reliance retail stores in J&K The protest was staged on the eve of a strike call given by Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries over various issues including the opening of a chain of Reliance stores, evoking widespread support from opposition parties, lawyers and various social groups.
He said opening of stores is discrimination of the highest degree” with traders of Jammu by the government and should be taken back in interest of small traders and shop keepers.
