Chandrog, Pernote residents extend gratitude for black topping work | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAMBAN, Sept 23: People of Chandrog and Pernote areas extended gratitude to former MLA of Ramban, Ashok Kumar for his continuous support in initiating the process of black topping from Sangaldan Morh (Maitra) to Chandrog and also on few patches between Chandrog and Pernote on Gool-Sangaldan road. While informal interaction with Ashok Kumar locals in its periphery appreciated the efforts of Former MLA and DDC Ramban for swiftly acting in this regard as people were badly affected by everyday dust forged by continue movement of heavy vehicle on un-metallic road. Ashok hailed the swift action by the GREF BRO under the guidance of DDC Ramban and said that the local pedestrian who used to walk along the road on daily basis got a huge relief from the heavy dust. He has led several protests against the concerned authorities in the past. He said opposition even at local levels has a role to play in healthy democracy that can only be achieved with collaboration and transparency with local administration. In addition, Ashok has extended big thanks to both print and electronic media on behalf of people of Chadrog, Maitra and Pernote for fully supporting the cause. Without their contribution this task would not have completed. He also extended gratitude to DDC Ramban for honest assurance and cooperation in early completion of black topping from Sangaldan Morh to Chandrog and Pernote.
