JKHCBAJ celebrates Maharaja Hari Singh's birth anniversary

JAMMU, Sept 23: J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu (JKHCBAJ) today celebrated birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, the modern architect of the State of J&K, in the premises of J&K High Court, Jammu. The celebration of birth anniversary of Maharaja was held under the Chairmanship of M.K. Bhardwaj, Senior Advocate and President J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu. The other office bearers of the Association, namely MP Singh Palli Adv. Vice President, Surjeet Singh Andotra Adv. General Secretary, Aditya Sharma Adv. Joint Secretary, Amandeep Singh Adv Treasurer besides many senior and young members were also present on the occasion.
MK Bhardwaj, Sr. Adv and President, JKHCBAJ while speaking on the occasion highlighted the contributions of Maharaja Hari Singh. Bhardwaj has also appealed to the Lieutenant Governor, UT of Jammu & Kashmir for declaring 23rd September as Gazetted Holiday as this demand has been raised by the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, as well as Civil Society earlier also.
Bhardwaj felt highly gratified to the contribution of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji in the socio -political and religious reforms in the State. "We feel proud and realize how great visionary Maharaja was. We being Dogras feel proud in glorifying the great visionary Maharaja," he said. MP Singh Palli conducted the proceedings of Birth Anniversary Celebration and also reiterated the principles of Maharaja Hari Singh that "justice is my religion and all religions are mine".
The birth anniversary celebration was held at the lawns of District Court Complex, Jammu. The halwa was also distributed among the gathering.
