| Women Club Meri Pehchaan celebrates Maharaja Hari Singh's birthday | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 23: On the occasion of birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, the Chairperson Women Club Meri Pehchaan, Sandhya Gupta paid floral tributes to the legendry king. Speaking on the occasion, Sandhya Gupta, Tarul Uppal and Shashi Thakur said that today the whole world knows that it is the birth anniversary of one of the mightiest Dogra ruler of the Dogra empire, Maharaja Hari Singh. She further said that everyone on this particular day celebrates the Dogra ruler's birthday. "But why only today? We always remember Maharaja Hari Singh. He is the Dogra ruler who gave us the name Dogra and provided protection to all the communities within his empire," she said. She appealed to the government to declare 23rd September as a government holiday as a tribute and respect to Maharaja Hari Singh. Varsha Jamwal and Sahil were also present on the occasion. |
