| Three drug peddlers arrested by Akhnoor Police | | |

JAMMU, Sept 23: Three drug peddlers were arrested by the Police at Akhnoor and more than 12 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from them.
During naka checking at Punna Chowk Akhnoor a car was stopped for checking which was boarded by three persons.
They disclosed their names Anil Singh S/o Madan Singh R/o Hamirpur Sidhar Tehsil Khour, Jammu, Rahil Bhagat S/o Kasturi Lal R/o Bhagwati Nagar Near Yatri Niwas Tehsil Gol Gujral Jammu and Abhi Sharma S/o Vijay Kumar R/o Talab Tillo Near Sai Nath Mandir Tehsil Gol Gujral District Jammu.
During checking 12 grams of heroin like substance, one sharp edges weapon (Krich) and one baseball bat was found in the said vehicle. Police arrested all the three persons and seized the drugs, kirch and bat along with car (white Creta) bearing temporary registration number JK/TMP/2019/51935. Case FIR No. 248/2021 U/s 8/21/29 NDPS, 4/25 Indian Arms Act, 184 MV Act was registered. |
