JAMMU, Sept 24: An awareness programme under Poshan Abhiyaan, for Ladies/Nursing mothers was organized by Child Development Project Officer Jammu, in Kotli Bhawan Rehari. The camp was organized in collaboration with AYUSH Wing of Health and Medical Education Department.
In the camp, Tina Mahajan, Deputy Director ICDS J&K was chief guest and corporator ward 24 Anu Bali and Corporator ward Dinesh Gupta were the guests of honour. The welcome address was delivered by CDPO Jammu, Ms Akanksha Kalsotra and she laid importance of healthy nutrition Diet. She also highlighted several activities done during Poshan Maah 2021.
Special lecture on the theme Rashtriya Poshan Maah-Nutrition Kits for pregnant ladies was delivered by Dr. Arun Gupta, Medical Officer AYUSH. He also stressed on the importance of Regional Nutrition items like 'Panjiree' for Pregnant Ladies. Also, lectures were delivered by Deputy Director, ICDS and corporators. The AYUSH Kits and special Nutrition kits were distributed to the beneficiaries. |
