Early Times Report POONCH, Sept 24: Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Poonch working under the auspices of Directorate of Extension, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) today concluded 15 days certificate course on "Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) for Input Dealers". The programme was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-J Dr. J.P. Sharma through virtual mode on 07-09-2021, in presence of Director Extension, Dr. S. K. Gupta. While speaking on the occasion, he said that the dealers/retailers are an important link between company and farmers and key change agents in motivating the farmers to use fertilizers in a balanced manner. The main purpose of the course was to educate and inform the dealers regarding the different types of fertilizers and their manufacture, purchase, sale and distribution in accordance with Fertilizer (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Fifth Amendment Order, 2021 read along with the Fertilizer (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985. |
