| Government Degree College RS Pura celebrates NSS Day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 24: NSS Unit of Government Degree College R.S. Pura under the guidance of Principal Dr. G. S. Rakwal and supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Programme Officer celebrated 52nd Foundation Day of NSS in the college campus. Proceedings of the programme were initiated by Muskan and Himanshu, NSS volunteers followed by lighting the traditional lamp by Principal of the college along with NSS Programme Officer and other faculty members. NSS volunteers namely Aastha, Anshika, Amit and Surbhi spoke about NSS Day, its aims and benefits through the medium of their poems and speeches whereas Rohit Kumar, Arun Kashyap and D. K. Dogra embraced the audience with his beautiful song. Programme Officer presented a power point presentation of report of activities carried out so far. Shubam, NSS volunteer, Sem. V shared his own experiences with the volunteers. Principal of the college congratulated the NSS team for their hard work and motivated them to keep on such activities in the future endeavour. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Prof. Vijay Kumari where she thanked principal of the college for his guidance and support, entire staff, teaching and non teaching and NSS volunteers for managing the event in a smooth manner. |
