Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 25: To mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayay, Rekha Mahajan, Secretary, BJP, Jammu & Kashmir, planted saplings in Ward 54, Shivaji Park, Trikuta Nagar Jammu. She was accompanied by District General Secretary, Mahila Morcha, Divya Jain, Saroj Manhas, Leela Khetri, Chanderkala Mahajan, Shivani Gupta and Gandhi Nagar Mahila Morcha Mandal team. Rekha Mahajan said that Pandit Ji's philosophy of integral humanism & his resolve of serving the very last person in the queue is our guiding force. This great ideologue struggled throughout his life to protect India's rich culture and values. Rekha Mahajan said that despite being in politics, the BJP has always endeavoured to fulfil its social responsibility and people have seen this on many occasions, particularly to mention during the corona pandemic time, when under 'Sewa hi Sangathan' campaign, party workers distributed food items, necessary medicines, provided oxygen cylinders and even donated blood. She asserted that it is important to protect environment and planting trees is one such measure. 'Go clean Go green' initiative is our foremost responsibility as well as our duty to contribute our bit in keeping our surroundings clean and beautiful. "Our responsibilty do not end by just planting a sapling", Rekha said and added that we should take care to ensure them live to grow into trees and we all have to take this responsibility as well. |
