JKTA calls on Union MoS for Education & External affairs | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Sept 25: Highlevel Deputation of JK Teachers Association (JKTA) Led by its UT President Bhupinder Singh called on Union Minister of State for Education and External affairs Raj Kumar Ranjan Singh at Tara Niwas Udhampur and gave a warm welcome to Minister. While interacting with Union Minister, Bhupinder Singh raised Issues of Teachers Fraternity for early redressal and also suggestions there of to bring reform in school education department in UT J&K includes: Implementation of Pay Grade in favour of Teachers Fraternity at par with other UTs of the country. Rationalization of teaching staff in all schools as per teacher pupil ratio. Online transparent transfers policy of teaching staff must be made more transparent with out manipulating the data and minimum stay should be two years in hard Zones and three years in cities, road side schools. Teachers appointed under Ret Scheme must be included in transfers to rationalize the staff. CCTV cameras must be installed in all institutions right from primary to Hr Sec level examinations, in all class rooms and school examination halls to prevent copying, cheating in exams and prevent unsocial elements to enter school after school hours. It is must to bring quality education and maintaining of morality. Sanctioning of ministerial staff in all 60 hanging zones of JKUT, only ZEO posts have been sanctioned in 1991-92 and no action taken there after to sanction other staff. New zones may be created as after 2008, 20 districts and hundreds of Tehsils, Blocks were created but no Education zone, zones must be created on the basis of blocks. |
