Jammu, Sept 25: 6th Day Online Conference “ Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Phase-x” conducted Online w.e.f. 20th of Sep., 2021 to 25th of September 2021.
5 JK NCC Bn, Poonch organised Xth edition of EBSB (Ek Bhart Shresta Bharat.) a nation-wide initiative to shareand showcase our culture with other states (paired states) and inculcate the spirit of National integration based on our shared values and culture.
The theme of this edition of EBSB was Freedom struggle and contribution of Bhagat Singh and Importance of Physical and Mental health. Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Directorate was the Host, and its partner state was Andhra and Telangana Directorate.
The event conducted in online mode began on 20th Sep with briefing to cadets on modalities of the event programme by Dr. Yougish kumar Sharma, Asstt. Prof. & NCC Officer, GDC Poonch followed by opening address by CO 5JK NCC Bn and motivational talk by Gp Cdr Jammu Gp Brig (Dr) Satish Kumar who spoke on relevance of such events in life of NCC cadets.The weeklong event saw active participation, discussion,and online interaction with cadets of Andhra, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir incl Ladakh. It included Cultural exchange programme, Presentation on cuisine from each state, Folksongs by cadets etc. The cadets also gave presentation on Geography, terrain, climate, and tourist destination of their respective states.
