| GDC Ukhral organizes Webinar on Gandhi | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 25: Govt Degree College Ukhral under the flagship programme of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” organised a webinar on the theme “Role of Gandhi in freedom struggle of India” The essence of the programme was to highlight the life and works of Mahatama Gandhi as freedom fighter of India. Large number of students participated in the webinar expresses their views on the role and contribution of Mahatama Gandhi in liberating India from the colonial rule of Britishers. Principal of the college Dr Ranvijay Singh said on the occassion that Mahatma Gandhi is perhaps the most widely recognized figure of the Indian Nationalist Movement for his role in leading non-violent civil uprisings. the discrimination and exploitation of coloured people under Whites rule. He exhorted upon the students to inculcate values and thoughts of Gandhi ji which are based on truth and non violence and said more such programs are being held in the coming days as well. The webinar was attended all the teaching faculty of the college including Dr Shafiq Ahmed and Prof Iftilhar Hissain.
