| Commerce College Jammu celebrates wildlife week | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 11: Eco Club of the Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu celebrated wildlife week under the theme Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet. On this occasion, screening of movie on wildlife was held for students and staff in the Smart Classroom of the college. The movie 'Sherni' was screened in order to create awareness about importance of forests and wildlife. Prof Ranjeet Singh Jamwal, the Principal of the college lauded this initiative taken by the committee and encouraged the students to conserve Biodiversity. Dr Deepak Pathania, convener of the Eco Club along with committee members Dr Sarabjeet Kour, Dr Jagmeet Kaur, Rishu and Fayza coordinated the event. Prof Monika Mahajan and Prof Apfan Ali monitored the technical part of the event. |
