BJP govt virtually extorting money from people: Baaghi | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 11: Social activist Gurmeet Singh Baaghi condemned the central govt for increasing burden on the common masses by increasing fuel and LPG prices. Baaghi said that the prices of petrol and diesel are rising continuously, adding that the country has never seen this type of situation ever before. "The abrupt and continuous hike is economically badly affecting the people already reeling under the economic recession during corona virus. The covid pandemic has devastated the country as thousands of people became unemployed and now the BJP gov. ravaged their remaining savings by increasing the fuel prices," said Baaghi. Baaghi said that ever since the BJP came to power, the poor are in deep trouble. Promises made by the BJP, have been forgotten by its leaders, he added. He further said that the hike in fuel and LPG prices will eventually increases the transportation cost of essential goods as well as the prices of vegetables and other items which in turn will affect the poor people, adding that this is a massive betrayal with the people of India. Gurmeet Singh Baaghi accused the BJP govt of virtually "extorting money from people" and sought an immediate roll back of increased fuel and LPG prices. |
