Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 11: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Pritam Singh inaugurated the beautification work of a public park in Apna Vihar area of Kunjwani in Ward No 55 at the cost of Rs 8 lakh. The park was in dilapidated condition since long and the residents especially old persons were facing lot of problems while visiting the place. Pritam Singh while addressing the media appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with Jammu Municipal Corporation in various development works undertaken by it within Jammu city. He urged upon the residents to avoid using single used plastics, polythenes in their routine work while also appealed them not to throw debris, garbage and filth in the public park. Pritam Singh asked the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and a beautiful city. Local residents including Dr Vijay Sharma, S C Khajuria, Kewal Saini, Malvinder Singh, Pritam Singh Jamwal, Dr RR Sharma, Col (Dr) Subash Gupta, Sahil Bakshi, HL Pangotra, Neeraj Tandon and Sanjay Gandotra were present on the occasion. |
