| JKESTWS appeals LG to release 3 percent DA to JKUT employees | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 22: Welcoming PM’s festive bonanza for lakhs of Central Government employees and pensioners, JKESTW Society President Vijay Sharma, DC (retd) State Taxes, appealed to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to sanction and release 3% DA to employees/pensioners/family pensioners of JKUT as well. Sharma further welcomed the decision to increase the Dearness Allowance to employees and Dearness Relief to pensioners with effect from 01.07.2021 to 28% representing an increase of 11% over the existing rate of 17% of the basic pay-pension. The employees/pensioners of JKUT will be grateful to LG and Chief Secretary if the DA is released during ensuing festive season, said BS Mastana, DC (retd) Excise Department and Chief Advisor of the Society. |
