| Sikh organizations hail reopening of Kartarpur corridor | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 21: An emergency meeting of various Sikh organizations of J&K was held under the chairmanship of S. Mohinder Singh Chief Organizer Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa society J&K and ex-member District Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Jammu. Speaking on this occasion Singh said that Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaj made journeys in all parts of India, Arabia and Persia including Mecca and Baghdad having discussed religious preaching for awakening the masses in order to know about God and Sikhism, empty religious rituals, caste system, sacrifices made by widows, studying in books to know about having his permanent companions Bhai Bala, a Hindu and Bhai Muardana, a Muslim thereby telling to be true Muslims and true Hindus. The Sikh organizations hailed the decision of Government of India to reopen the Kartarpur Sahib which was closed during the COVID-19 and thanked Prime Minister Narinder Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for this act. They said the Sikh community was eagerly waiting for reopening of Kartarpur Langa. |
