Gurudwara Nanak Satsang Taraf Sanji celebrates Guru Nanak Jayanti

KATHUA, Nov 21: Gurudwara Nanak Satsang Taraf Sanji Kathua celebrated 552nd birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. On this occasion Shri Akhand Sahib Path of Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji was started on Nov 18 which ended today. After Akhand Path Sahib, Bhog and a grand Kirtan Darbar was organized in which Shabd Kirtan was recited.
Raagi Jatha headed by Giani Jasmeet Singh from Gurudwara Singh Saba Lacchipur Kathua was the main Kirtaniye (singer) on this occasion. He recited number of blissful Shabd which blessed the devotees with spiritual knowledge. Female Kirtaniye Bibi Jatinder Kour also recited the Shabd Kirtan on this occasion. A group of children prepared by Bibi Gurpreet Kour, Head of Sukhmani Committee Taraf Sanji also recited Shabad Gurbani dedicated to Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on this occasion. Captain Waryam Singh also marked his presence in the feet of Guru Granth Sahib by reciting Shabd in the appreciation of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. President Gurudwara Nanak Satsang Gurcharn Singh threw light on the life and teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and appealed to the Saad Sangat to follow the teachings of the founder of Sikhism, Baba Nanak Ji. Giani Tarlok Singh also enriched the Saad Sangat with the quotes of Gurbani and their explanation. The proceedings of the celebration were conducted by General Secretary Gurudwara Nanak Satsang Taraf Sanji Kathua, Bhajan Singh.
