JAMMU, Nov 21: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Amit Gupta along Mahant Rajesh Bittu inaugurated bathroom work in Bikram Chowk area in Ward 19 at the cost of Rs 11 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Councillor Amit Gupta appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with the JMC in various development works undertaken within Jammu city.
He urged upon the residents to avoid using single used plastic, polythene in their routine work while also appealed them not to throw debris, garbage and filth in the open. He asked them to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and beautiful city. Local residents including Rajkumar, Baburam, Vijay Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Gopal Kumar, Arun Singh and others were also present. |
