Farmers of Kissan Union Ramgarh present memorandum to government | | | Early Times Report RAMGARH, Nov 22: Farmers of Kissan Union gathered here and submitted their resolution to the LG through Tehsildar and district administration with the request that though the announcement step of repealing the three farmer bills is appreciable and that they welcome the initiative of PM Narinder Modi. The union requested the Prime Minister to shun the adamant behaviour and do the needful at an earliest possible to show the real integrity and sympathy with the farmers for their prosperous future. The union requested the central government to compensate the families of about 700 martyr farmer's families who lost their lives in ongoing agitation for introducing MSP legal guarantee bill and repealing three farmer bills by way of employment to kith & kin and financial support. The union said that during recent Rabi season the crops of farmers were extremely damaged by heavy hailstorm on October 23 and to assess the losses, the advisor to governor Farooq Khan paid special visit. The union said that the advisor promised that Rs. 18,500 per hectare to the affected families but nothing has been heard so far in this regard from government side. |
