Revenue records go missing in Poonch | If people have complaints they should come forward: ADC | | Early Times Report Rajesh Tandon
Poonch, Nov 22: Revenue records have gone missing in Poonch and the authorities are far from putting these online, sources told Early Times on Monday. They alleged that a few officials in the Revenue Department are responsible for these records going missing and the government should order a probe to ascertain where the things have gone wrong. “The black sheep in the department need to be identified and brought to book,” sources added. They claimed: “Whenever senior Revenue officials try to seek a reply for the missing revenue records the accused dodge the query by giving illogical replies.” When this reporter contacted a Naib Tehsildar he said that he had just joined the posting and didn’t know much about the missing records. Residents have urged the Lieutenant Governor to transfer such officials, who are sitting at one place for the last many years. When contacted ADC Poonch Dr Basharat Hussain Inqlabi said that if anybody has any problem, he or she can come forward with a written or oral complaint. |
