Every functionary accountable in Modi's regime: Sat | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 22: Former Minister and ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) along with Councillor Ward 12 Jeet Angral kick started developmental works including works of lanes at Meat Market area of Krishna Nagar near St Peter School. Executive Engineer JMC Harvinder Singh, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, JMC officials, local residents and political activists of the area were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma highlighted the main work of Krishna Nagar to Canal road Nullah which was decade's old problem and created chaos type situations for the locals, commuters and shopkeepers of the area. He said crores of rupees were spent during his tenure as MLA on that work which has now proved to be boon for people as now the water from rains passes through streamlined channels which has kept surroundings clean. He stated that PM Narendra Modi's work has sent a strong message to all functionaries, be it elected representatives or administration that everybody is accountable and gone are days, when even top brass could easily mumble out that only 10 paise reaches out of 100 paise released from Centre and such is vision of clean and good governance, he added. Jeet Angral said that BJP is committed to all around development and is working on both long and short term policies for the same. Keshav Chopra talked about the benefits of various central government sponsored schemes to the common man and stated that under the leadership of former MLA, thousands have been benefited till date which has improved the lifestyle of the masses. JE Rajat Manhas, Supervisor Yougal Kishore, Surjit Singh Chib, Jatinder Kour, Pratibha Sharma, Varinder Dogra, Anil Angral, Ramesh Thakyal, Tarun Angral and several others were also present. |
