Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 23: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Parmodh Kapahi on Tuesday kick started lane and drain work at Dr Sushil Razdan Lane in Ward 14 at the cost work of Rs 9.50 lakh. Speaking on the occasion, Councillor Parmodh Kapahi appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with Jammu Municipal Corporation in various development works undertaken by within Jammu city. He urged upon the residents to avoid using single use plastics and polythene in their routine work while also appealed them not to throw debris, garbage or filth in the drains, lanes and nallahs. Kapahi also asked the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and beautiful city. Local residents including Rajkumar Gupta, Rajkumar Tiku, Vijay Saproo, ML Bhagwati, Talvar, KL Goni, Balraj Singh, Rajesh Kohli and Miky were also present on the occasion. |
