| Civil Defence organizes Awareness-cum-demonstration programme | | |

Jammu, Nov 25: One day Civil Defence Awareness-um-demonstration programme held at Surinsar Jammu. The programme was organized under the supervision of Dy. SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. This was a community Disaster Management programme for the public of the Area. In the said awareness programme (50) Anganwari Workers, helpers and Local ladies of the area have attended the programme. Awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, and other Emergency rescue methods were given by the Civil Defence expert. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics was also presented by the Civil Defence team. The programme was co-ordinate by Smt. Syeeda Parveen (CDPO) , Sh. Bodh Raj Singh (Sarpanch) at Surinsar , Jammu . During the awareness programme S.O.P as well as guidelines issued by the govt. of J&K regarding COVID-19 was properly followed.
While speaking on the occasion Dy .SP Anita Pawar have delivered valuable lectures on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization. Chief Warden CD Jammu Sh. Paramjeet Kumar has also delivered valuable lectures.
