NEW DELHI, Nov 27: Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Housing & Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri flagged off Ranchi Rajdhani Express from New Delhi Railway Station via diverted route. Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, Meenakashi Lekhi, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Narain Dass Gupta were also present on the occasion.
Suneet Sharma, Chairman cum CEO Railway Board, Ashutosh Gangal, General Manager, Northern Railway, Dimpy Garg, DRM Delhi and senior officers of Northern Railway were also present. The train will now run via the new route Chunar-Chopan-Tori-Loharadga Rail Section. The train will depart at 16:10 hrs from New Delhi Railway Station and reach Ranchi at 09:40 hrs.
