Dozens join Shiv Sena in Kashmir, youth unit constituted | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 27: Influenced by the ideology and policies of Shiv Sena, around 60 youths from Kupwara district of Kashmir joined the party here today. According to a press release issued from the Shiv Sena state office Jammu, about five dozen youths joined the party expressing their faith in Shiv Sena after analyzing various programmes organized in village Nagri and Hathmula of Kupwara district of Kashmir. Party's state president, Manish Sahni welcomed these youth to the party through video conferencing from here. Today's party joining programmes were organized under the leadership of working president Ghulam Rasool Lone from Kashmir who conducted the oath ceremony presenting them Shiv Sena Nishan and Bandhan Badge. The newly joining members took the pledge of serving the nation and its people besides committing to make social service as ingredient of their life. Meanwhile, after receiving the instructions of party state president Manish Sahni, the students' unit of the party was constituted for Kupwara district and Akhtar Rashid Mir was appointed as the president of Student Wing, Kupwara. The new entrants assured to put in their best to promote the ideology and principles of Shiv Sena in the Valley and work 24X7 in the interest of the nation and its people at large. Prominent among others among 60 youths joining today were Tariq Ahmed Mir, Naeem Ahmed, Shokat Bhatt, Zafar Rashid, Danish Ahmed, Ashfaq Ahmed, Sahil Ahmed and Zubair Ahmed. |
