Extension in free ration distribution welcome step: Tajinder | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 27: Social and political activist Tajinder Singh said the decision of Union Cabinet to extend distribution of five kg free food to poor families till March next year under Pardhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Yogana (PMGKY) is a welcome step and it will help poor people of country especially weaker sections of J&K UT. Tajinder Singh while terming the extension of providing free food till March 2022 to the ration card holders in the country as principle line of the Government which shows the vision of Prime Minister "Sabka Sath, Sabka vikas, Sabka Vishwas," and focusing on the survival of the last man in the Queue. He also said that the free of cost food grains under the scheme has successfully countered the ill effects of Covid19 hardships faced by the poorest of poor in the country especially the poor and downtrodden people of Jammu and Kashmir. |
