| GDC Dudu organizes debate competition on TB awareness | | |

UDHAMPUR, Dec 4: Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of Govt Degree College (GDC) Dudu Basantgarh organized a debate competition on TB awareness today.
Students of the college enthusiastically participated in the program. Students of the college enthusiastically participated in the program and shared their views on the TB. Welcome address was presented by Dr PP Singh (Head of the Department of Urdu). Speaking on the event, he said that we must educate the society about the ill effects of this deadly disease (TB) as Govt is also taking initiatives to eradicate Tuberculosis from our country by 2025.
Student of semester 5th, Varinder Singh got first position in the competition. Shabnum Akhter, student of semester 5th secured second position while Surjeet Kumar, student of semester 5th bagged third position. Dr Ravi Kumar, Prof Astha Gupta and Prof Anju Devi acted as jury members. In the closing ceremony, the vote of thanks was given by Prof Pardeep Kumar (Nodal Officer of Red Ribbon Club). The overall program was organized by Prof Rahul Sharma. |
