Unemployment, backwardness biggest enemies of country: Azad | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Dec 4: The former J&K chief minister and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad today demanded submission of Delimitation Commission report by March and announcement of elections within six months after it. While addressing a rally here, Azad described unemployment, backwardness and poverty as the biggest enemies of the country. “This is the actual Jihad which the INC will continue,” he added. “No party or leaders are my enemies. I want to fight poverty, unemployment and other issues. More than politicians we have to be reformers,” Azad said. Condemning the selective killings of civilians, policemen and security personnel in Kashmir, Azad urged the government to rehabilitate families of martyrs. |
