| GDC Thannamandi organizes cleanliness drive | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Dec 4: NSS unit of Govt Degree College (GDC) Thannamandi organized a cleanliness drive in the college campus under the banner of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”.
About 50 NSS volunteers took part in the drive and cleaned college campus. The event was organized under the patronage of Principal Prof (Dr) Javaid Ahmed Qazi. The programme was inaugurated with his motivational talk.
He encouraged the Volunteers to actively participate in such type of events and also highlighted the importance of cleanliness at our home, village towns and water bodies. During the drive the volunteers cleaned the college premises and also picked various used plastic items like wrappers, pet bottles and polythene bags etc.
and disposed of such waste properly.
The programme was supervised by Prof Muhammad Shoket, NSS Programme Officer. |
