| GDC RS Pura organizes inter-collegiate essay writing competition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 4: As a part of Clean India Program (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) Department of Botany in collaboration with NSS unit of Govt Degree College (GDC) RS Pura organized an online intercollegiate essay writing competition under the patronship of Principal of the college, Prof Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer. A number of students from various degree colleges participated with full zeal and enthusiasm and wrote worth reading and engrossing essays on the theme “Forgotten Heroes: Stories of Unsung Heroes of India’s Freedom”. Aastha Thakiyal of GDC RS Pura bagged first position, Kushi Jamwal of GDC, Samba bagged second prize whereas the third prize was bagged by Gayatri Devi of GDC RS Pura. The event was adjudged by Prof Vishal Sharma and Prof Sukhwinder Kaur. E- Certicicates were given to the winners of the competition. The Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and applauded the students for their continuous and active participation in all the events. |
