UDHAMPUR, Dec 4: NGO "Jiyo Aur Jeene Do" held a meeting of the organization here today at its Head Office.
President "Jiyo Aur Jeene Do", Tariq Shah and other members discussed many issues. Speaking on the occasion, Tariq Shah said that our organization "Jiyo Aur Jeene Do" has been working in the direction of environment conservation, human rights and welfare in the society for a long time. Keeping this, in the coming days, along with the “Beti Bachao” project our NGO is running the “Beti Basao” project, under which the girls belonging to the needy families, especially those girls unfortunately whose fathers are no more, will be financially supported by the organization for their marriage.
We will provide financial assistance for solemnizing marriage of such daughters, he said. There is an appeal to all the people that the information of any such family must be given to the organization so that they can be provided help, he added. Apart from this, camps for distributing warm clothes in far flung areas in winter will be organized by the organization in the coming days, due to which unused clothes lying in the houses which are in wearable condition should be sent to the NGO so that the needy people be provided help. NGO is dedicated towards raising voice of any sort of under privileged section of the society, said Shah.
On this occasion, Vice President Parveen Akhtar, Secretary Asiya, Treasurer Rajesh Khajuria, members Anju Bala, Preeti, Vinod Khajuria, Surjit Singh, Programme Coordinators Neena Koul, Ruby Sheikh, Sahil and others were also present. |
