| 6 structures gutted in two fire incidents in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Dec 4: At least three houses and the same number of huts were gutted in two separate fire incidents in Kashmir since Friday evening, officials said.
Three residential huts reduced to ashes in the fire at Dal Lake on Saturday.
They said the fire emerged this morning from a residential hut and in no time it spread to two other huts near the Nehru Park in the lake.
The damaged huts belonged to four brothers.
The locals said the brothers lost everything in the fire. They demanded an immediate compensation from the government to the affected families.
In a separate fire incident, three houses were gutted in a fire incident at Boniyar Uri in Baramulla district. The fire broke out in Hillan Hakhapathri village on intervening Friday and Saturday night.
The cause of fire was not known.
